I haven't yet explored tumbleweed, I believe it's meant to supply updates after release? or am I getting it mixed up with something  else. 
I've been getting settled in at Packman and working with a Fedora packager on a multi distro blender. I've just about finished updating 
hydrogen which is two versions old and has switched to scons as a result needed a spec file rewrite. Blender's release is next month as well.
