Re: Getting sound out of CD players

First try the volume settings, either kamix, kmix, or even Volume Control 
under the Multimedia menu.  If that does not work, login as root and change 
the Volume Control program under Multimedia, the CD volume bar is probably 
turned down.  I did this today after having the same problem.
