Dear SuSE customers, Please note that SLES-8/UL 1.0 has been certified using an updated kernel for SLES-8/UL-1.0. We will release a ServicePack 1 for UnitedLinux shortly which among all other accumulated updates is going to have that update kernel. It is also available for download here: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/commercial/Oracle/sles-8/kernel Please allow a few hours, I just put the final, offical packages there - look for these files: README.ocfs k_debug-2.4.19-189.i586.rpm k_psmp-2.4.19-239.i586.rpm kernel-source-2.4.19.SuSE-152.i586.rpm k_athlon-2.4.19-238.i586.rpm k_deflt-2.4.19-246.i586.rpm k_smp-2.4.19-233.i586.rpm. The packages you may still find there for a few hours are the same but have different numbers and dates, the new ones were built by our automated built system and have the official "SuSE signature". (They also have an updated version of the cciss driver which in the other version which was there until now doesn't work at all.) By the way, OCFS (Oracle Cluster Filesystem - for RAC) packages for SuSE are available at http://www.ocfs.org/ocfs/suse/. Best regards, Michael Hasenstein SuSE Inc. Oakland, CA USA
