Dear SUSE/Oracle customers,

 From the changelog on http://www.suse.com/oracle/

----------------------------------------
Addes SLSS-8 (SUSE LINUX Standard Server 8) to the list of certified
products. SLSS-8, just like SLES-8, is "Powered by United Linux 1.0",
i.e. the Linux core of the product are the three UL-1.0 CDs, and since
UL-1.0 is certified by Oracle all products "Powered by UL-1.0" are
certified, too.

Changed the icon scheme on the support matrix page. We hope to even
better avoid confusion about which products are fully supported and
certified for running Oracle.

Added instructions for 9iR2 on SUSE LINUX 9.0.

On page 9iR2 on SLES-8/SLSS-8: added note about SPs; OUI tip for
multiple installs (restart OUI).
----------------------------------------

Other news:

- An update of the orarun package (to version 2.0, a major update!) is
due by the end of this year.

- SUSE/Oracle "Installfest" at LinuxWorld in Frankfurt (end of last
month) was a success which is to be repeated at LinuxWorld in New York
next January. If you are planning to come to New York don't forget to
come and see us at this event! (Exact dates/time yet to be announced)

Best regards,
Michael Hasenstein
