Dear SuSE/Oracle users,

SuSE has just released this statement which is of indirect relevance to
our enterprise customers.

(TSANet = Technical Support Alliance Network)

SuSE Linux Joins TSANet Support Platform:

What is TSANet and why is it relevant to our customers:

TSANet is an alliance of support organisations. A few highlights (see
http://www.tsanet.org/ for details):

* As the largest multivendor support alliance in the high technology
industry, TSANet provides its members that vital link to each other.

* Each vendor agrees to work co-operatively around mutual customer issues.

* TSANet process ensures fast resolution for your multivendor problems.

* When a multivendor support problem arises, the customer is not caught
in the middle.

* Many traditional and startup information technology vendors have
joined TSANet, to make that link and help reduce the 'run around'.

This means if you use a stack of products from companies that are a
member of TSANet those companies have agreed to work jointly on customer
issues, transparently to the user having the issue. This means you won't
have the experience that you will not get support but instead are
referred to another vendor. Instead, the companies work together in the
background to solve your problem.

Please note that SuSEs focus is on the SuSE Linux Enterprise Server
platform and on customers who have actually purchased the Linux product
and SuSE maintenance for it.

Best regards,
Michael Hasenstein
