1) It (10.2.0.4) is already available, as I remember.
2) I suspect that problem is the same for 10.2.0.1
3) I can't 100% confirm the problem yet (did not re-tested on independent 
server), but I got a configuration when rman and standby worked with the 
kernel 287 and did not work with the kernel 308, for 100% sure (double 
checked it).

Hi Alex,

thanks for the warning. Since we run SAP on our boxes, we are not
allowed to use 10.2.0.3 anyway ;-) SAP tells us for a long time to wait
until 10.2.0.4 is out and cleared by SAP.

I wonder if there will be an 10.2.0.4 anyway...
