Alexei,

I cannot find 10.2.0.3 as a version available on the Metalink Patch download area for any OS:

    Oracle 10.2.0.1 Oracle Database Family
    Oracle 10.2.0.2 Oracle Database Family
    Oracle 10.2.0.3 Oracle Database Family
    Oracle 11.1.0.4.0 Oracle Database Family
    Oracle 11.1.0.5.0 Oracle Database Family
    Oracle 11.1.0.6.0 Oracle Database Family
    Oracle 11.1.0.7.0 Oracle Database Family

Thanks for finding these problems for the benefit of the community.

Regards,
-Michael

1) It (10.2.0.4) is already available, as I remember.
2) I suspect that problem is the same for 10.2.0.1
3) I can't 100% confirm the problem yet (did not re-tested on
 independent
server), but I got a configuration when rman and standby worked with
 the
kernel 287 and did not work with the kernel 308, for 100% sure (double
checked it).

Hi Alex,

thanks for the warning. Since we run SAP on our boxes, we are not
allowed to use 10.2.0.3 anyway ;-) SAP tells us for a long time to wait
until 10.2.0.4 is out and cleared by SAP.

I wonder if there will be an 10.2.0.4 anyway...

Regards,
Werner
