[suse-oracle] SLES 10 and Oracle 10g client

Hi everybody, I have a number of SLES 10 servers, all of them connecting to a number of Oracle databases. They all use Oracle 10g instant client. Previously I have used the exact same setup on SLES 9, with no problems. From time to time, it would happen that an Oracle connection on the client side would just stop responding. From this point onwards, all connection attempts just hangs. Rebooting the server solves the problem. The servers are all different configurations, and they connect to different database ranging from 8i to 10g, yet all of them have had this problem at some point. The only common aspect is the SLES 10 / Oracle 10g instant client combination. Has anybody encountered anything like this before?
