Vanishing filesystem with SLES-10-SP1 and external Mylex RAID

Hi,

we are running a FSI Primergy H400 with
Mylex DAC 960 internal and
external SNI S40 attached via 3 Channel SCSI DAC1164P

Now it happened two times that the external raid filsystem vanished  
without
entries in /var/log/messages.

SuSE Linux is SLES 10 SP1.

I know there was a bugreport and driverupdate from SNI available:

megaide 05.09c-2 megaide.biz LSI MegaRAID IDEal software RAID stack

Is this a firmwareupdate of the controller or is it
enough to update to SLES 10 SP2?
