[suse-oracle] MD5 sums or archives differ between production and standby

We have a production database that is replicated on standby. We have two
standby databases, actually.

The MD5 sums of the same archive on production and standby are different for
all archives. They are different between production and both standby systems.
Three MD5 sums that are not the same.

I thought that dataguard just ships the archives unchanged on the standby and
then applies them. Does it change the file content during transmission?

The transport method is set to ARCH, not log writer.

Thanks
