while i'm here, a couple issues regarding installation. first, i
notice that the 32-bit runtime environment package is selected for
installation by default. as long as i am going to restrict myself to
64-bit apps on this system, am i safe in deselecting that?
also, this laptop is a 64-bit AMD athlon but, sadly, with no HW
virtualization support. what are my options for virtualization later?
right now, for server base scenario, i'm selecting "Physical Machine
(Also for Fully Virtualized Guests)" but, as i understand it, without
HW virt support, the best i'll be able to do later is
para-virtualization, is that correct?
so what would be the proper choice at install time? i'm assuming i
can always install the proper additional packages later. does xen
even work with no HW virt support? thanks.
