Hi List , 1 ) I would like to know if changing the default scheduler from CFQ to Deadline can have a significant impact on performance for large busy Oracle Database ( Oracle/SAP ) attached to SAN ? There are document to the effect which mentions Deadline scheduler is good for Database. 2 ) Does Reiserfs file system have any performance issue when used with LVM for Oracle database , Is XFS is a better file system to go by for Database on SLES ? One of my customer feel Reiserfs is not ideal for Oracle Database and is moving to Veritas File system as they feel Veritas offer better performance. Thanks & Regards Austin _______________________________________________ suse-oracle mailing list [email protected] http://listx.novell.com/mailman/listinfo/suse-oracle
