Hi,

I am trying to install Oracle XE using oracle-xe-univ-10.2.0.1-1.0.i386.rpm
on the 64 bit Open Suse system with the configuration specified below:

*System hostname* linux-9yhn.site *Operating system* SuSE Linux 11.2 *Webmin
version* 1.510 *Time on system* Sun Jul 18 03:43:32
2010<https://192.168.11.15:10000/time/>
*Kernel and CPU* Linux 2.6.31.12-0.2-desktop on x86_64 *Processor
information* Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5504 @ 2.00GHz, 4 cores

I followed the following link for the Oracle installation
http://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-help-here/install-boot-login/414654-how-install-oraclexe-opensuse-11-1-a.html

But when I start the Oracle service its is not getting started. However, it
gives error related to *LD_Preload cannot be loaded for
libInternalSymbols.so.*

Moreover, if tried to run sqlplus in the terminal, it gives following error
message:
*
Error while loading shared libraries :libaio.so.1: cannot open shared object
file : No such File or directory Error:ORA-12547:TNS lost contact.*

Please revert with the solution for this problem or atleast the reason why
this error is occuring.

Regards

Parag Patil.
