Different User configuration in Proxy-Suite

Hello,

Working with Proxy-Suite I wished to setup different user groups, having
different destination addresses, but having in each group some exceptions.
So I started with some sections in the config-file like:

[foobar111]
DestinationAddress x.x.x.x
[foobar112]
DestinationAddress x.x.x.y
[foobar1*]
DestinationAddress x.x.y.y
[foobar*]
DestinationAddress x.y.y.y

unfortunately i figured out, that this is not working (even not in the
reverse order). As the usernames (~sections of the config-file) are sorted
alphabetical before searching the right entry, proxy-suite will allways find
the [foobar*]-section first for foobar12, foobar111 and so on...

Would it not much better to keep the entries in a list like in the
config-file, which would allow to have specific entries with special
treatment first before some general rules. Second would it not helpfull
going to the list and using the section-name as a regex to the username
given down from the login prompt, instead of just cutting away the
rightbound asterisk (*) ?

Are there other people in the list having similar needs or working
solutions?

Thanks for answers

  Wolfgang
