Not sure if you seen this, but GCC 3.1 is available for download at
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/kukuk/SPARC/

Subject: [suse-sparc] /usr/lib64/crt1.o

Hi,

finally after many frustrating nights of searching for a *nix (other than
solaris) to install on my blade100, I was able to install suse-7.3. First
off, my congratulations to the developers -- wonderful and easy installation

and very helpful documentation.

Now for my question, I'm trying to compile gcc and I get an error:

/usr/bin/ld: cannot open /usr/lib64/crt1.o: No such file or directory

I'm wondering what package I have to install to get this.

Any help?

Thanks,
IvanK.
