Compiling 7.3 for Sun Blade 100

Has anyone successfully recompiled the SPARC64 7.3 release for a Sun Blade 
100?  If so, what did you have to do to the distributed configuration 
file?  I have tried numerous configurations, and none work.  In general, 
they complain about an invalid "root=" entry in silo.conf and then kernel 
panic.

Any ideas?
