Hi all,

I've rebuilt the updated SRPMs from Red Hat, Inc, signed them, and added
them to the updates repository. These update fix mostly minor security
vulnerabilities.

Technical notes:
- httpd was modified for Tao Linux to remove RH trademarks
- when building updates, I compare the rpm %{SIZE} and number of files
with the former version, and investigate alarming discrepancies (one
unused .png file in httpd)

Right now our sole RHEL3 box isn't being kept current (soon to remedy);
when I can get official RH rpms again, I'll use those with the
'comparerpms.sh' script.

With regards to rpm, I've found that the new version works like a charm;
however I get a number of spurious 'something size of poptHelpOptions has
changed, consider re-linking' messages. These messages appear to be
harmless; hopefully redhat will issue a bugfix for rpm before long, but
then, I'm not holding my breath. If anyone (RP Herrold?) has insight on
this issue, I'd like to hear. Note that this version of rpm is (and will
remain) in the 'testing' repository - esp. with this known bug.

regards,
	David
