Hi all, Ok, Red Hat finally made the updated SRPM available, and I've rebuilt it for Tao Linux (all modules included in the base kernel packages). This is also the first test of proper 'yum update' behavior - for me, it installed the new kernel (not actually upgrading, which is correct), and added it as the default in grub.conf. (on the whole, I'm ecstatic about 'yum') As a side note, a number of people are subscribed to both 'tao-announce' and 'tao-discuss'; if your mail server doesn't do duplicate suppression, you'll get both. Since most 'announcements' should probably be seen by everybody, I send to both lists; you may want to remove yourself from 'announce' if you're on 'discuss'. regards, David
