Tao/s390x available for testing

Hi,


21st June i got the small patch from Greg Smith for hercules to kill a
annoying floating point BUG which prevented me from making the s390x
release.

This is just basically a 64bit version of Tao/s390. Some of the
packages are left out from it (nothing crucial) to keep it 64bit only. 

Basically it's 'up to date release including all updates until today'.

It's available from

and maybe from some mirrors later on. You won't see the source DVD from
http as it's over 2GB.

If you're interested providing a s390(x) mirror, you can contact me
firts.

One is not needing actual mainframe to run this s390(x)-stuff. There is
emulator called Hercules, which was used to build this distribution at

http://www.conmicro.cx/hercules/

which is one wonderfull piece of work too.

There isn't much to say. It's working for me and there is no kind of
warranty about this software working or doing anything at all
(you know what i mean).

I don't think this release needs yet another mailing list. There is
tao-s390 which is used for s390x too.
