Yes it has been quite helpful. I've done it to RH 9->Tao 1 type  
upgrades, but someone else had done it first *and* I had physical  
access to the machine if I botched it up and needed to install from  
scratch instead of a simple upgrade. This was a little more nerve  
racking as I have no physical access to the machine and didn't want  
to render it un-bootable. It worked nicely for which I'm grateful. I  
have to also mention that there are fc3 and FC3 packages, I found the  
lowercase ones later and have done the same thing by replacing them  
with the Tao4 versions...
