Lemme give it a whirl. film at eleven! Nope. No go. It says it's searching for Tao Linux installations then after only one or two seconds goes to the screen where I get to choose installation type, i.e.: workstation, server, custom, etc. No upgrade choice at all. /etc/redhat-release is a symlink to /etc/tao-release, which contains: Tao Linux release 1 (Mooch Update 4) I really would rather not blow it away and install from scratch, so I'm still open to suggestions.
