Thanks to not only the person who gave me the hint above, but also=20
to Uwe, I finally got to where I was able to do the upgrade.

I could make this a long story but I won't. In short, one odd thing
that happened, is that after I identified which installation was to be
upgraded (several screens after, not right away) up pops a message saying
that the system I was upgrading was too old to upgrade, did I wish to
abort or to go ahead anyway?  Seems strange, it was a Tao-1 system and
I was using the TAO-4 U2 cd images! Why would it think the system was
too old?
