Has anyone gotten videolan client to work on tao4? I installed it
from dag wieers repository, it installs fine, starts up just fine,
gives me a gray window showing buttons and stuff but no video or
sound. the play/pause button is in play mode (it shows as two bars,
so it thinks its playing), the time counter shows 0:00/whatever the
length of the video is. Nothing happens. A few times when I click the
X to close the window, I get a half-second of audio as the window
is disappearing.

Anybody offering any clues?
