My conversion was nice and smooth.  I've added files from multiple
repositories and I had been on Tao4 since April/2005.

I didn't have the protectbase plugin before I converted but I added it
later.  It hasn't broken anything but I haven't seen any conflicts yet
that protectbase would protect me from.  In the past, I had explicitely
listed packages in Dag's archives that I wanted to be able to install.
I'm now use protectbase and using the rpmforge yum files instead of only
referencing Dag's archive.

One thing you'll have to watch for is that the migration renames your
other repository files.  When your migration is complete, don't forget
to rename them back.  You should then do a yum check-update to see
what the current state of affairs is.  I also regularly do a yum list
and pipe that to a file for easy grep'ing.

If you have any issues after you migrate, feel free to holler to the
list and we'll help you through whatever didn't work quite right.
