Re: Tape Drive With Linux.

Red Hat 7.2 uses Grub as the default boot loader. You need to add the
"hdd=ide-scsi" to the line that you currently boot with in the
/boot/grub/grub.conf (I believe that is the file). Leave off the "append",
you'll see that you can just add to the end of the line in GRUB, versus
having to "append" with lilo.

And I, for one, don't mind many questions being asked :-)
