Has anyone had any success running ftape on RedHat 9 (kernel 2.4.20-18.9)?
I have a Colorado T3000 on the standard floppy interface. I tried putting
the option in modules.conf to use the ftape-internal module when loading
zftape, but that gives an error that ftape-intenal.o cannot be found. I
also tried compiling and installing the 2003_05_31 release of ftape. It
quit during the compile with multiple errors. (I'm sending this from a
WinXP box at the moment and don't have access to the RHL box at the moment
to cat the errors). Just want to confirm first whether anyone got ftape
working with the standard RHL kernel released under v9. If so, how? If
not, I'll work further on debugging the compile problems.

BTW, I've been on this list for several years and never saved an archive of
all the problems that came through. Is there an archive of the list online
somewhere that is browseable/searchable?

Thanks for helping.
