Experimental ftape versions (4.x) are known to not compile for 2.6 kernels. The options I was referring to were in woody something like # ----------------------- # # load ftape/zftape automatically # # valid for all versions with zftape alias char-major-27 zftape # For 2.2 kernels and hopefully above options ftape ft_fdc_rate_limit=1000 ft_fdc_threshold=16 ft_fdc_base=0x360 ft_fdc_irq=9 ft_fdc_dma=3 # ----------------------- (options line is a single line, it might have been splitted) Had you success on using the 3.x module options following the procedure I mentioned in my mail with 2.6 kernel stock ftape modules?
