thanks for getting it started!

absolutely.

timewise, i'm pretty available. i won't be available july 15th-31st (debian
conference), but might be able to catch something immediately before or after
that.
my resources are limited, so proximity would be a factor in weather i'd be able
to attend.

very likely could get space at freegeek (portland, oregon, usa). could
reasonably handle 10-20 people for a 3-5+ day event (sundays & mondays are
best):
http://freegeek.org
though we already had a hackfest at freegeek in 2008, so i wouldn't want to
steal the opportunity from someone else to host somewhere else.

that's a bit of a difficult question, but if it's less than a week long, i
think i'd want to keep it fairly small. largely folks working on documentation,
code, features, ltsp distro maintenance, large deployments, or some other
specific thing to contribute to LTSP.
so, i guess i'd be inclined to have it largely be developers and other
specifically invited people rather than a widely publicized event.
i *do* think that a more widely publicized event would be really great in
addition to a smaller hackfest, but it would require a lot more organizing to
make it sucessful (and i'm not personally up for the task).
live well,
