Wow, very good.  Hope he succeeds, and you can use these messages
as yet another "+1" on its robustness and usefulness (I'm having
uptimes like a month on a compcached terminal, mostly interrupted 
due to power outages or rare experiments).

It's about reporting, not about compression itself -- adds
"very good" (IIRC 4x) compression ratio estimation into /proc 
file.
