In the case of LTSP and fat clients the difference is that they don't have their own hard disk but use the disk of the server. Also, all the fat clients have the same configuration. But you can make a different configuration for the computer where the printer is attached by creating a section with the mac address of this computer on "lts.conf". In this section you can add some directives related to printers (the ones that are listed on `man lts.conf`). But I have no idea which ones exactly need to be used.
