We have Dell Optiplex 7010's (sff) that will boot LTSP but halt just before rendering the graphical login screen. The error I found in Xorg.7.log on the thin-client is

modeset(0): failed to set mode: Invalid argument

Which appears to be a failure to set the screen mode/resolution. LTSP boots our Dell Optiplex 7040's just fine. This is LTSP server built on Ubuntu 18.04 using the Greek schools PPA.

Any thoughts on how to fix the video issue on our 7010's? I suppose they'll need something special in /var/lib/tftpboot/ltsp/amd64/lts.conf?
