Hi All,

I think that the best setup is to use one NIC only, setting dnsmasq in
proxy mode.

With this setup the clients get ip configuration from your router so you
don't need to struggle with IP/routing configuration on server.

I use this mode and it works great!

Basically you just set up ltsp server -- in my case the teacher's desktop computer -- just the way you want it with any specific application and java/flash setup. When done, you simply run a command and after 5 minutes or so, the ltsp server has made the image of your set up: this then is the image used by all the clients. And whenever you update your server installation with a new program, an updated version of Firefox or kernel or whatever, just re-run the command to make a new image. In this way, you just maintain your desktop the way it is normally done, then refresh the image for the clients when you feel it's important.
