thank you for your input.
First, could you point us to issues about dconf on NFS?
I think some people in the list are using NFS, they'd want to know.
About Ceph, it might indeed be useful for LTSP, and maybe even more in
the future, if programs start relying on blazing fast SSD speeds.
No network could match 500 MB/sec (5 gbps) per client.
On the other hand, maybe some local cache there will be enough.
So, patches about Ceph == welcome, but personally I don't have the
required time to work on this.
Ditching LDM in favor of normal, pam-aware DMs,
supporting UEFI clients,
supporting IPv6,
supporting Wayland...
...are more of a priority for me.
