Thank you Alkis, I will give it a try and report back. There are two installations, one with 16.04, the one I already told about and another one with Ubuntu 14.04; is 14.04 era included in the new dynamic changes on boot? I think it was installed during the end of 2015. I keep servers and clients updated within the release, so it has the latest patches and fixes. Thanks once again, On 12 Mar 2019, at 05:14, Alkis Georgopoulos <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: Στις 12/3/19 2:55 π.μ., ο Vinícius Ferrão via Ltsp-discuss έγραψε: Hello, I would like to do an in-place upgrade of an LTSP Server and the LTSP Image. I’m running the server on a VM environment, so I can rollback a snapshot if things get really messy. With this in mind there’s something that should be advisable or I should be aware? Or just fire do-release-update and see what happens? In the past, ltsp-build-client performed changes in the chroot that were not easy to apply on upgrades. Now they're done dynamically on boot, via chroot/usr/share/ltsp/init-ltsp.d/. So you should be able to upgrade the server and chroot normally without any ltsp-specific issues. _____________________________________________________________________ Ltsp-discuss mailing list.
