Re: MATE on LTSP thin client - still login problems :-(

To explain more:
1) I recommend the chrootless setup. It's easier.

2) If you really don't want that, and you want a fat chroot, go for that 
line above ^. It specifically mentions the ubuntu-mate-desktop name that 
you asked for.

3) You don't need FAT_CLIENT_DESKTOPS. This parameter would allow you to 
directly create a fat chroot.
But since not many people are using this nowadays, I've heard of cases 
where ltsp-build-client fails with fat chroots, because e.g. one little 
postinst script doesn't work in chroots, and then people need to start over.
This is much easier to troubleshoot if you first build a thin chroot, 
and then upgrade it to fat, with the command that I wrote above ^.
