Thank you very much Alkis,

I noticed that bug when I patched at the end of yesterday in our new 18.04
build.  I thought it was DNS related, but the impact is my clients hung on
boot with squashfs errors as you said.

I tried your patch first thing this morning and it fixed it.

I do use netplan on my servers across our environment, so it caught me.
