No, Douglas, put each nic in a different subnet!! The moment you put 
both nics in the same subnet the network stops working.

That is why the dnsmasq conf file uses 192.168.67.1 for the nic that is 
attached to the subnet with the clients.

What you may have missed is that you edit networkmanager on this second 
nic on tab IPv4 Settings and select Method Shared to other computers so 
that ip forwarding is working.
