I opened an issue to be able to discuss this in a more organized manner:

I have a link to the appropriate syntax for isc-dhcp there, so sysadmins 
using isc-dhcp should be able to test under BIOS/UEFI/IPXE and report, 
so that then the code can be committed upstream.
