Re: Strange encounter after update - pam?

In the last lesson before students went home, the PC teacher and I 
talked that over, and she remembered that after an update of the image, 
before students can use programs running on Wine (Crossover, to be 
precise) like Word, Excel etc. they will once have to start it as a 
remote application.

If they try to start it as a local application first, it will not start. 
So she switched the whole class to thin clients, then said they should 
start their Word. After that, they were able to start it on any fat 
client without problem. But it was only one class, the others hadn't 
done it, and when those students tried to start their Word, the result 
was an overload.

At least we hope it was that, I promised to change the Icons on students 
desktops to remote app calls during the holidays, and in two weeks we 
will know if we were right :)
