tomsrtbt and dump+restore

concerning Linus' deprecation of dump:

I am far from a specialist, but I tend to agree with the conclusions of
the dump mailing list:

where, summarizing the summary, it says things are not so bad. However,
contrary to what Tom once said, dump and restore do not appear to be in
the add-ons any more. Has it been decided to stop supporting them?
