First priorities?

So, now that we're all able to restore our doorstopped modems (well, I
haven't tried it yet but Patrick says it works and I'll take his word on
it for now)... I'm curious what people's first priorities are for this
modem?

Obviously, first thing is to make sure we can build the kernel/utils and
load them without killing the modems again.

Personally, I think second would be to add an easy-to-use interface for
port forwarding.

Other ideas?

Anyone interested in trying to make our own daughterboards/new cases to
get serial ports, USB, etc. all in a nice (and still enclosed) form
factor? I know of some fairly decent/reputable PCB manufacturing
houses, but don't know what cost is (especially if they do chip
placement, which would be nice if we use little SMDs instead of
through-hole chips).
