Besides the must haves on a daughtercard (uart, usb), how about putting an
EPLD/FPG on there so it can be any purpose?

I don't know much about them, but I hear a lot of embedded cards these days
come with cpu, and epld. That's it. Anyone shed some light the the EPLD
angle, and what that can do?

Be cool if the daughtercard could stay within the footprint of the main
modem card...

Bottomline, a daughercard for this board needs to stay extremely cheap,
otherwise the combo price between it and the modem could drive the price
higher than better suited SBC's on the market already.

Me, I can wire-wrap an octal latch on there ('573 or some such) and start
playing with turning stuff on and off. (web enabled 8 zone lawn sprinkler
controler for example)
