Free "Home Grown" Development Daughterboard

Dear Actiontec Dual PC Modem Hackers:

Today I built and tested three more "home grown" Actiontec development 
daughterboards which provide a console UART, plus a USB port for 
recovering Actiontec Dual PC modems which have become "door-stops".

See the following photos of the three new PCBs, assembled *and* tested 
PCBs just waiting to be shipped out...

I promised Patrick McNamera one for all the work he has done for us to get 
to us to this point.  That leaves me with two "extra" PCBs.

Here's the "free deal"...the first person that can provide me with a 
program that runs under Windows XP which can recover the bootstrap via the 
USB port get one of these PCBs.

Booting a "DOS disk" on a "special" Windows 98 PC (using USB port #1 
only!) to recover the Actiontec flash memory "bootstrap" is getting really 
old!!!!  I want a better way, and I can't do everything myself.

Patrick has shown us how to hook up a USB cable without making any 
hardware, so you don't need a "daughterboard" to take the next step.

Maybe someone that has tools to snoop the USB traffic can figure out that 
is going on.

Or just tell me what the flash bootstrap recovery USB protocol is and I'll 
make the damn USB program myself.  BTW: That'll probably get you one of 
these daughterboards, but you'll have to buy me a beer! :-)

So how about it!  Any takers?
