Mine still hangs up a lot and I have the updated firmware I wonder if they are going to release anything else for this modem. -----Original Message----- From: actionhack-bounces-W7/[email protected] [mailto:actionhack-bounces-W7/[email protected]] On Behalf Of Todd Ignasiak Sent: Saturday, August 28, 2004 11:36 AM To: ActionHack Mailing List Subject: Re: [actionhack] Reliable firmware I recently pulled out the Actiontec, and set it up again at my parents' house. I updated the firmware to the latest version I could find ( 2.0.0.0.19n-R7000M ). It is working more reliably now, it has not hung in the ~ 5 days it has been in use. The only issue I have seen is that it seems to reboot itself somewhat frequently. When I have noticed it, it has happened shortly after ppp login, where I start to access WWW sites, then everything stops. The modem is not pingable for around a minute, then it comes back. I assume it is rebooting (/proc/uptime also supports this). So, while it's a bit annoying, the modem is still quite usable. On Mon, 19 Jul 2004 20:01:28 -0700, James H.
