TheVB script in the presentation page is failing when it attempts to
subscribe to the TV control service events like this:

Dim TvControlService
set TvControlService=TvDevice.Services("urn:upnp-org:serviceId:tvcontrol1")
TvControlService.AddCallback GetRef("eventHandler")

Instrumenting libupnp I see that "handle_request" in miniserver.c is not
even being called so it doesn't appear that the event subscription message
even makes it to the tv device, so the problem may not be attributable to a
defect in the 1.2.1 SDK.

Will come back to this in a few days and let you all know if I figure out
exactly what's going on.

Jim
