128MB is sub-standard. There isn't any miracle about KDE or OO being slow with
such an relict. 256MB is minimum on Linux as well as on Win, no Pentium5 6GHz
will help you here.
Besides: OO is shoddy when you try setting up a printer and print. I got a HP
LJ4 whcih is well supported and spadmin still gave me hell. (What on earth is
the command line for cups?!)
