OReilly `Hacks' series already has an abridged (I think) version of the
`How to become a hacker' paper.

I don't know that any other ESR links are really on-topic with a
Linux-annoyances book. The `How to ask smart questions' is a good
idea, though. Most of my really tough Linux problems, that I couldn't
find any answers to, were answered because I figured out where and how
to ask good questions.
