People doing documentation on the GNOME project, the LDP, and elsewhere
are aware of the problem of fragmented and inconsistent documentation.
Not all of this can be solved technically, but there is a project called
ScrollKeeper that is working on providing a single repository and way to
browse through documentation coming from different systems. Right now I
don't have a site for it at hand, but I believe it's maintained on
SourceForge.
