Yes it does, what you said was that having a firewall that allowed filtering based on programs made the system (windows in this case) inherently super ubber duper more secure than linux. Of course it does not. Firewalls are just to block connections, not to make systems secure. They are just one level of protection. Now, blocking on programs I think is ubber stupid and unnecessari. If you think you have malicious software/spayware on your PC that you dont want to let it go out, is your fault in the first place.
