One of my biggest gripes is getting my modem to connect. If I use kppp the connections work every time, but in order to have kppp I need a lot of unwanted libraries(although KDE is a great environment it is not my choice for use) Other dialers offer easy set up but NONE of them have been successful in connecting. I have yet been unable to figure out how kppp can connect with such ease and others fail even with much configuration changes. I've tried gkdial wvdial pon poff. Since I love icewm because of low system use the added load of using kppp and all its dependencies really irks me. -- -- Do It Now -- Because Today is Tomorrows History (Registered Linux User #278917) -- Vince Jenkins
